Elise Tanner is part of the inaugural 2017-2018 cohort of the National Digital Stewardship Residency for Art Information (NDSR Art) at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (PMA). In collaboration with various stakeholders across the Museum, Elise is building the foundation for the preservation and ongoing management of the rapidly-growing time-based media art collection. She earned a BA in Photography in 2010 from Columbia College Chicago and in 2015 earned a MS in Library and Information Science with a certificate in Special Collections from the University of Illinois. In addition to slinging coffee and photographing the occasional wedding, Elise has worked at the Columbia College Chicago Library, the Schaffner Library at Northwestern University, and most recently in Digital Resources of the Flaxman Library at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
